You know that the coming is so close at hand, you feel all right

F#m E/F# D A Em7 D/F#
I guess only women in cages can stand this kind of night

G A D A G
I guess only women in cages can play down the things they lose

G A D A G
You think no tomorrow will come when you lay down you can't refuse

Dm7 G(III) Dm7 G(III) Fmaj7

[Chorus]

[Solo: 1st half of verse chords]

G A D A G
I guess only women in cages can play down the things they lose

G A D A G
You think no tomorrow will come when you lay down you can't refuse

Dm7 G(III) Dm7 G(III) Fmaj7

[Chorus]

[Ending: F#m E/F# D A]

You can vary the chords a little from the ones given above. For the interlude
(before the chorus) I think Dm7 sounds good, but a straight Dm is fine too.
Also, a lot of the G and A chords can be played as Gadd9 and Aadd9 chords, to
vary the sound a little. E.g try playing x0242x instead of x0222x once in a
while. (On the original, the piano plays mostly Aadd9 and Gadd9, instead of
plain A and G).
